Odell Beckham Jr. Launches Charity Auction Through Joopiter to Support New Orleans Youth
The collection, titled "The Collection of Odell Beckham Jr.," blends worn and signed NFL memorabilia with one‑of‑a‑kind luxury goods, custom jewelry, and more. In a press release, Beckham said the items "represent many of the defining chapters of my life both on and off the field that have shaped me into the person I am today." He added that partnering with Joopiter makes the opportunity "especially meaningful."
Joopiter estimates starting bids between $1,500 and $15,000, with some pieces potentially reaching $20,000 depending on brand, model and significance. The auction will feature a mix of sports gear and high‑fashion items, including a 2014 Chanel Graffiti briefcase, an orange leather Loewe jacket, Supreme x Nike x Louis Vuitton Untouchable Pro cleats, custom Timberland boots, and several pieces from Virgil Abloh’s Louis Vuitton line.
Sports memorabilia will also be on display. Locker‑room souvenirs include a signed and used Super Bowl LVI Gatorade towel, New York Giants‑branded Nike right‑hand gloves, a 2015 Arizona Pro Bowl helmet, a 2016 Pro Bowl jersey, a Cleveland Browns helmet with its visor, Browns Untouchable Pro cleats, and a Browns tracksuit. The fine‑jewelry section features one‑of‑one pieces by Jason of Beverly Hills in the style of Murakami.
Caitlin Donovan, Joopiter’s global head of sales, said in a statement that "Odell Beckham Jr. changed the conversation around athlete style and cultural influence. This collection captures a defining era where sports and fashion became inseparable, Odell standing at the center of the shift." She added that the partnership reflects both Beckham’s legacy on the field and his impact on fashion and culture.
The auction follows Joopiter’s recent sale of "The Collection of Sébastien Jondeau: My Life With Karl Lagerfeld," which closed on March 3. That event featured artwork, clothing, accessories and collectibles from the late designer’s personal archive.
Beckham, who returned to the New York Giants in 2026 after missing the 2025 season, has long been known for blending athletic performance with fashion. Drafted in the first round of the 2014 NFL draft by the Giants, he has played for the Cleveland Browns, Los Angeles Rams, Baltimore Ravens and Miami Dolphins, and has earned multiple Pro Bowl selections and All‑Pro honors.
The OBJ Foundation was established to support youth in underserved communities, with a particular focus on New Orleans. Its programs aim to provide educational resources, mentorship and community development opportunities.
Joopiter, founded by Pharrell Williams in 2022, operates as a digital‑first auction house and content platform. The platform has sold items from Williams’ own archive and from other high‑profile collectors, including luxury goods, art and rare objects.
The auction will be conducted online, with bidders able to place offers through the Joopiter website. The final sale price of each item will be announced at the end of the auction period.
The OBJ Foundation has not yet released a projected budget for the auction or the amount of funds expected to be raised. However, the organization has stated that all net proceeds will be directed toward its youth programs in New Orleans.
The auction is expected to attract collectors interested in the intersection of sports and fashion. It also provides a platform for supporters of the OBJ Foundation to contribute to community initiatives.
For those wishing to participate, bidding will begin on Wednesday, June 18, and will continue through the last day of the month. Interested parties can view the catalog and place bids on the Joopiter website.
The auction represents a continuation of Beckham’s philanthropic efforts and a showcase of his personal and professional journey, while also highlighting the growing collaboration between the worlds of professional sports and high‑fashion culture.
