When Josh Allen strides down the tunnel at Highmark Stadium, it’s not just the roar of the crowd that catches the eye—he’s also donning a fresh, kid‑designed cap that tells a story of hope and creativity.

The 2026 season marks the second year of the “Billustration” initiative, a partnership between Allen, New Era Cap and the Patricia Allen Fund that turns Allen’s pre‑game entrance into a fundraiser for Golisano Children’s Hospital. Last season’s campaign featured eight caps designed by patients and their families; each was worn before a home game, and the auction of the nine caps (including a special edition) raised $140,230 for the Patricia Allen Fund.

This year, eight new children will create a cap for each of the Bills’ home games. The designs will reflect the kids’ passions, memories and imaginative ideas, and fans will be able to purchase the entire set—every sale benefiting the Patricia Allen Fund. New Era Cap announced that the caps will retail for just over $50.

Allen will debut the first cap, crafted by Jack, during the Week 2 home opener against the Detroit Lions on Thursday Night Football. The remaining games will feature the following caps:

Week 3 vs. Los Angeles Chargers – Mason (Sept. 27) Week 4 vs. New England Patriots – Charlotte (Oct. 4) Week 5 vs. Baltimore Ravens – Isaac (Nov. 1) Week 6 vs. Miami Dolphins – Avery & Amar’e (Nov. 22) Week 7 vs. Kansas City Chiefs – Killian (Nov. 26) Week 8 vs. Chicago Bears – Caleb (Dec. 19) * Week 9 vs. New York Jets – Grace (Jan. TBD)

The initiative has become a community highlight. “One of the most special parts of Billustration is seeing the kids’ creativity come to life and learning where their inspiration comes from,” said Danielle Koch, executive director of the New Era Cap Foundation. “It’s incredibly rewarding to be part of this initiative with Josh and to see how it brings our community together in support of the kids and families at Golisano Children’s Hospital of Buffalo.”

Golisano Children’s Hospital president Stephen Turkovich praised the program’s impact. “Last year’s Billustration campaign blew us away with the excitement, success and support for the Patricia Allen Fund,” he said. “Jack, Mason, Charlottee, Isaac, Avery and Amar’e, Killian, Caleb and Grace put so much creativity into these designs, knowing that their caps will bring support to more kids just like them through the donations to the Patricia Allen Fund.”

The Patricia Allen Fund, named after Allen’s late grandmother, has surpassed $17 million in donations over the past five years, according to reports from the hospital. The fund supports equipment and programs that help children receive care at Golisano Children’s Hospital.

As the Bills head into the 2026 season, the Billustration caps add a charitable dimension to the team’s home‑game tradition. Fans can collect the eight designs, support a local children’s hospital, and watch Allen lead the offense in a cap that reflects the creativity of Buffalo’s youngest residents.

The initiative underscores the Bills’ broader community engagement, which includes the HeartBEAT CPR program and other local outreach efforts. With the caps on sale, the team and New Era Cap aim to raise additional funds for the Patricia Allen Fund while giving fans a tangible way to participate in the hospital’s mission.
